Cult+Art Gallery
2016
Studio 01
In the assignment for the art gallery, the first architectural project in school, the Cult+Art Gallery was designed to represent art and culture in general, covering the history of artistic movements and bringing together trends.
It was designed to function as a multipurpose space, which can host exhibitions, events, courses and workshops, with the aim of creating a space that awakens the creative capacity and critical thinking in people, as well as stimulating the community's interest in becoming increasingly involved and committed to the cultural and social environment around them.
In addition, the design prioritizes the integration between the building with the square, with more openings and a semicircular shape that encompasses the square, creating a more inviting and cozy space. The minimalist design alludes to a blank canvas, making it versatile for the circulation of different objects, artistic movements and events that can take place there.
